Favoretta West Ranch–Eastern Tract is a 632 acre showplace located in the sought after Goldthwaite area at the northern edge of the Texas Hill Country.  The high wooded hills, large ponds and abundant deer population make Favoretta West an ideal Hill Country recreational or grazing ranch.  The superb 7-strand barded wire fencing, water wells, newly built barns and quality pastures are ideal for folks who plan to run cows.  


The terrain at Favorettta is dominated by a high ridge on the east side of this tract. The elevation ranges from 1520 along the creek bed in the center of the ranch to 1700 on the eastern hills. Dahl Old World Bluestem thrives in the lower areas of the ranch and is tremendously rich and productive. The main lake is adjacent to mature pecan trees and the hills are covered with various oaks. Very few cedars and no mesquite trees are on the ranch. Cedar Eaters has done a great job reducing the cedar numbers on the ranch as well as cleaning up down trees. The ranch is loaded with whitetails. The ranch is not leased for grazing or hunting. It is likely you will see a dozen or more deer in a short visit to Favoretta. There are no wind turbines on the ranch.

A 5 acre lake in the center of the property with a floating dock is full of fish.  Many small ponds provide ample water for livestock and wildlife.  Even in the 2011 drought the lake and most ponds did not go dry on the ranch.
