Wyman Meinzer is a ranch real estate professional with Republic Ranches and a lifelong resident of Knox
County, Texas. Raised on the historic 27,000-acre League Ranch, Wyman earned a degree in Wildlife
Management from Texas Tech University and worked as a professional predator hunter on some of
Texas’ largest ranches before beginning a distinguished career as a photographer, author, and
conservation storyteller.
In 1997, the Texas Legislature designated Wyman as Official State Photographer of Texas, a distinction
he continues to hold today. For more than four decades, he has documented the landscapes, wildlife,
ranching heritage, and people of Texas. He has authored or collaborated on 30 books, and his
photography has appeared in hundreds of publications nationwide.
A lifetime spent on Texas ranches gives Wyman a firsthand understanding of water, wildlife, native
habitat, grazing country, and the history and character that distinguish exceptional properties. His
knowledge of the land, combined with his photography and storytelling, provides ranch owners with a
unique approach to presenting and marketing their properties.
Wyman and his wife, Sylinda, work together with Republic Ranches, combining their experience in ranch
real estate with professional photography, videography, and a deep appreciation for Texas land and its
heritage.
