Location: Scrub Oak Ranch’s gate is approximately 23 miles (as a crow flies) from Rocksprings, TX. The ranch is at the dead end of CR 450 and a 1 mile 60′ easement providing seclusion and a true wild feel.
Wildlife & Hunting: The ranch is home to thriving populations of white-tailed deer, turkey, axis, aoudad, dove, and feral hog plus other free ranging exotics. Wet weather creeks, draws and ravines provide diverse habitat benefitting the wildlife. These benefits include excellent forage, thermal cover and a great wildlife travel corridor.
Habitat: There are numerous draws that run sporadically throughout the ranch as well as patches of Live oak and Shin oak providing fantastic cover for animals. Water: While the ranch does not have an active water well, the ranch does sit over the Edwards – Trinity aquifer and more that able to provide adequate groundwater for livestock/wildlife and domestic use at around 300 feet. The parent ranch has several water wells that have proven the availability of groundwater in the area specifically.
Electricity: the closest electric service line is approximately 1,000′ from the fence line.
