Topography, Rangeland & Habitat
A great mix of timber and grass provides good grazing and also cover for game both on the ranch and coming out of the neighboring refuge. Live oaks, pecans, and ash are the predominant major trees. Deer and hogs are common. A good system of crowned field roads and drainage ditches are in place. There is a small, rain fed tank that typically holds good water for livestock and game.
