Topography, Rangeland & Habitat

Cedar Trunk Ranch sits tucked into a canyon just outside the city limits of Cedar Park. As you enter the property, you’re immediately greeted by dramatic topography, with towering rock rims forming the eastern and western boundaries. The high points along the rim rise to roughly 1,040 feet in elevation before falling into the canyon floor around 900 feet above sea level, creating a dramatic box canyon feel with the mouth opening toward sweeping views of the nature preserve to the south. The walls of the canyon are a mix of rolling hills, exposed rock outcroppings, small caves, and thick hardwood and cedar cover that give the ranch a secluded Hill Country feel rarely found this close to town.

Wildlife

The ranch supports a strong population of native wildlife and offers excellent hunting opportunities for whitetail deer and hogs. The diverse habitat and varied terrain provide natural bedding, feeding, and travel patterns, with additional potential to further enhance and develop hunting areas.
