Habitat: The Stout Family Ranch is located in the heart of south Texas red sand country. The ranch’s habitat is typical of a traditional south Texas hunting ranch. Mesquite, prickly pear, black brush, guajillo, and persimmon are some of the plants present. A portion of the ranch was historically used as a farm several decades ago. This portion of the property is currently reestablished in a mature, mottted state ideal for quail hunting.
