Clayton has been recognized for his expertise in mergers and acquisitions, as a turnaround agent, and a champion of innovation. While finding success in the boardroom, Clayton felt an ever present pull toward following his passion of ranch real estate. Therefore, he followed his heart. He is thrilled to be with Republic Ranches and have the opportunity to represent the discriminating ranch owner/investor. Along with his wife (Amy) and daughter (Allora), he has owned/operated ranches in south Texas and southeastern Colorado for many years. Passionate about creating a legacy in the land, he thrives on improving a property to reach its full agricultural potential. His efforts have proven successful in establishing a high quality hay operation on their ranch in Medina County. Additionally, as manager of his family owned Cactus Jack Ranch (recognized as the 2001 Lone Star Land Steward Recipient), Clayton has vast knowledge of taking an over-grazed, over-hunted ranch and developing it into a world class hunting operation.

Clayton has been with Republic Ranches since 2017 and during his tenure has been instrumental in the firm’s growth into both New Mexico and Colorado. His knowledge of all three states proved instrumental in assisting a client with selling a legacy ranch in southeast Texas and helping find and execute multiple 1031 properties in Colorado. With numerous personal sales and acquisitions of ranch and commercial property, along with extensive business knowledge and abundant relationships in varied fields, Clayton is sure to be a strong asset to your team.
