Location

Wildlife

The Live Oaks Ranch supports the entire host of wildlife present on the Katy Prairie. Numerous waterfowl, migratory birds, whitetail deer, and songbirds can be seen regularly. There is a stocked bass pond with a water well.

Water

Lakes for waterfowl and the bass pond are connected to a central water well and pipe system to maintain water levels during dry periods. The northwest pasture is also bounded by Live Oak Creek. Except during heavy rains the creeks usually flow with clear water.
