Location

The ranch is located in Nueces County on the border of Corpus Christi, Texas. It is approximately 3 miles south of the intersection of Staples Street and FM 286 (Crosstown Expressway), along the east side of County Road 43.

Topography, Rangeland & Habitat

La Estancia is traditional coastal prairie interspersed with mixed brush providing quality habitat for a variety of game species native to the area. The property is generally flat with some low lying areas used for wetland habitats. While the land does have mixed brush and mesquite common to the area, it is richly dominated by grassland providing great habitat for quail.

Wildlife

Being in such a neighborhood with management in focus, this ranch has a great population of deer. The eastern border is the King Ranch. Being nestled amongst so much agriculture, the ranches ponds provide excellent dove hunting. The quail habitat on the ranch is also a focal point for any upland hunters. With 3 great dove tanks, you could enjoy large parties of dove hunters and stay in a great lodge within minutes of town. The property can be managed for the duck populations that winter on the Texas coast adding further enjoyment to this already great escape.
