Chris Busbee

Mr. Busbee has worked for 25+ years in numerous roles in investment banking and management. Chris received his BBA in European History from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Previously he served as Global Head of HVB/Unicredit Bank’s Private Debt and Equity Placement Group for five years and spent ten years with Citibank Securities. Mr. Busbee also served as Chief Financial Officer for Mesa Power, Mr. T. Boone Pickens’ captive power company and worked in various capacities for the Hunt Oil Company. He has also completed numerous ranch and residential real estate transactions, primarily as a principal.

Mr. Busbee serves on the board of directors for Pallet Ops, LLC (a recycled pallet manufacturer based in Texas), serves as Chairman of the Board of the Pinhead Institute (STEM-based educational foundation) and manages the Sue and Richard Carter Charitable Trust.

He is an avid hunter, fisherman, snow skier and runner. Chris has completed 23 New York City Marathons in a row. Chris owns a ranch in Webb County, TX and lives full time in Telluride, Colorado. Chris is part of the team serving Colorado.
