Location: The main ranch entrance is located on Old Goliad Road, 3 miles northwest of Refugio, Texas. There are also other entrances along Old Goliad Road, as well as State Highway 202. The Ranch is a short drive from Corpus Christi, and just over 2 hours from Houston.
The Creek Pasture: The Creek Pasture is approximately 1,072.6 acres, which includes 1.4 miles of Blanco Creek frontage, and the ranch stretches from Old Goliad Road to the north, southwestward to the Blanco Creek. This pasture is a rich mixture of several ecosystems including a big creek bottom with giant trees creating a canopy affect and a diverse soil type with the property accented not only by the creek, a large lake for fishing and duck hunting, rolling sand hills and thick native brush.
Kathleen Pasture: This pasture is located east of the headquarters tract or Creek Pasture. It is approximately 1,034 acres with a mixture of oak forest habitat with native prairie grasses, 300 acres of improved Klein grass which creates an open savanna with scattered oak trees and areas of thick native brush, perfect for holding wildlife. This is a special pasture designed to enhance wildlife, raise cattle and work bird dogs for quail. Fences are all in excellent condition. The Kathleen Pasture sets up well as its own ranch, with numerous locations for the ultimate home site.
This portion of the ranch has almost 1.5 miles of frontage along Old Goliad Road and 1.4 miles of frontage along State Highway 202. This pasture is contiguous with the Blanco Creek Pasture.
