Location

This property is located near the southwest portion of Robert Kerr Lake and approximately 2 miles north of Keota. The drive is less than 2 hrs southeast of Tulsa, 2.5 hrs east of OKC, and 3.5 hrs northeast of Dallas. The ranch is accessed from blacktop N 4550 Rd also known as Keota Landing Rd.

Topography, Rangeland & Habitat

The topography of this property is truly staggering, with almost 400′ of elevation change and still a good amount of usable acreage on top. The ranch resembles a plateau-type landscape with good access to the upper portion. There is a wide variety of hardwoods, including oak with mostly native grasses like bluestem. Many great areas for camping, exploring, and hiking with unmatched views and privacy. The current access road has had recent work allowing truck and UTV access to the top with an established pasture road continuing through the ranch.

Wildlife

The ranch has great wildlife habitat with plenty of cover, forage, and water. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers borders this property on most of the northern boundary which makes this place a safe haven for wildlife. Opportunities to pursue deer, turkey, and other native wildlife with a scenic lake backdrop at every set or stand location.

Water

Leflore County RWD #14 has a line along the west side of N 4550 Rd. There are 2 nice ponds on the property.

An electric service line runs along the west side of N 4550 Rd.

A small portion of the ranch was formally permitted for mining over 15 years ago.  The permit was released in 2009 after reclamation was completed on the 16.5± acres affected.
