The ranch is mostly gently rolling with about 90 feet of topographical relief from the higher ground on the west to the creek bottom on the east. Spring Creek is a sizable creek with a rock bottom that appears to maintain nice pools even in the hottest part of summer. It curves through the ranch for over a mile and is lined with abundant trees. Quite a few pecan trees are located near the creek as well. Era Ranch is mostly comprised of good quality pastures but there about 75 acres of woods that provide great wildlife habitat and a scenic addition to the ranch.
Water Features
The house and shop are watered with a deep well. A fairly large creek runs through the ranch for over a mile. Additionally, there are three ponds to water the pastures.
The main well is approximately 375 feet deep with 1,000-gallon holding tank. The farmhouse well is approximately 130 feet deep.
