Brazos Long Bend Ranch sits on the Long Bend of the Brazos River just as it pours into Possum Kingdom Lake. Very rarely can you find a ranch in this price range with 2.5 miles of river frontage! The ranch’s 188 deeded acres are surrounded by approximately 225 acres of very private Brazos River Authority land. This is truly a rare and awesome opportunity for sportsmen. The ranch has plenty of lodging for large groups including two extremely unique real log cabins, a small farmhouse and a finished-out army barrack. *A small percentage of minerals (with production) convey *
Location: Brazos Long Bend Ranch is located in far southeastern Young County near the Jack and Palo Pinto County lines. The ranch is approximately 1.5 hours from Ft. Worth and 2 hours from Dallas. The town of Graham, which has a population of 8,792, is about 15 minutes northwest of the ranch. The ranch is located in the Cross Timbers ecoregion of the state.
Terrain and Habitat: Brazos Long Bend Ranch’s terrain is generally rolling with one prominent “sandhill” on the western side of the ranch. Approximately 100 acres of the ranch is fenced pasture and is relatively level. A large slough surrounds much of the ranch and should provide some awesome waterfowl hunting opportunities. The 2.5 miles of Brazos River frontage is the highlight of the ranch. So many possibilities exist for outdoorsmen with this much river frontage! Possum Kingdom Lake is just around the next bend in the river. Large live oaks are scattered around the ranch with pockets of mesquite and cedar. The 225 acres of Brazos River Authority land that surrounds the deeded 188 acres is fenced off and is extremely private.
