1. What other areas of expertise do you have that can help your clients?
I am able to assist my clients with the steps needed in order to add value to the land from a habitat restoration, structural improvements, water feature and wildlife management standpoint.
2. What are some hobbies you enjoy doing in your spare time?
My hobbies really stem from my core passion for conservation and the time spent with family and friends in the outdoors. Some of those hobbies include hunting, bay fishing, hiking the state and national parks of Texas, working our bird and gun dogs and cooking up a meal for family and friends to gather.
3. What is your go-to travel spot?
Outside the hunting and fishing world, it would be hiking and spending time with my wife in far West Texas.
4. Do you have a favorite “off the beaten path” restaurant when you’re on the road?
If you happen to be passing through or bird shooting in Hondo, TX, you have to try a little hole in the wall called Olivia’s Mexican Food Restaurant. Their greasy beef enchilada plate is up there with the best! I’d recommend a siesta after.
5. What is your proudest moment or favorite memory while working with Republic Ranches?
It is hard to say there is an absolute favorite memory… However, my favorite memories are the phone calls I have received, months or years after the sale, when a client has an exciting story to tell and expresses their appreciation for the land and Republic Ranches’ assistance in making it happen.
6. What’s a motto you live by?
“Success in life is measured by the number of campfires you experience with family and friends.” -Stan Studer Sr.
