Bret Burford

Bret Burford is an avid outdoorsman, hole-in-the-wall cafe connoisseur, mountain bike enthusiast and 6th generation native Texan. Bret was blessed with a father who instilled a great love for and stewardship of the land. Generational family ranch operations in Comanche, Smith, Travis, Kinney, Milam, and Williamson counties gave Bret a distinct exposure to ranching and land development. He has decades of experience raising, training and showing cutting horses, managing cow/calf operations, white-tailed deer/wildlife operations while raising a great string of bird dogs. His passion for land stewardship and optimizing land resources extends to the benefit of current and future generations. Bret graduated from TCU with a degree in Economics and Ranch Management and brokered his first ranch transaction in 1995. Bret, his wife and their 3 children live in Fort Worth, Texas. They enjoy vacationing together in the mountains of Telluride.
