RB Ranch is located in east central Texas, boasting beautiful Post Oaks and great topographic relief. The southern corner of the ranch has beautiful views of Leon County from an elevation of 320 feet above sea level; it would make a picturesque site for a new home. Location: The property is located in the northeastern portion of Leon County approximately 14 miles east of Buffalo, TX. The ranch entrance is located on FM 831, Private Road 2150 makes up the Northeast boundary of the ranch.
Habitat & Topography: The ranch has large Post Oaks scattered throughout the property. Around the cabin there are magnificent large Sweetgum, Oaks, and a few Pine trees. Several unnamed creeks run through portions of the property; they appear to be wet weather creeks with plenty of adjacent cover for wildlife. The southern portion of the ranch has a high hilltop, at about 320’ which gradually descends toward the north to a lower 230’ elevation in the northern corner.
Wildlife & Hunting: The property has abundant white-tailed deer, feral hog, squirrel and rabbits, not mention varmints and non-game species.
Water: There is an existing 1 Acre +/- pond with overflow culvert installed on the dam; the dam could be moved back to increase the size of the pond. Of note, about 50 feet outside of the property’s northern corner there is an existing artesian well that has flowed without interruption for 70 years; indicating the potential for a similar feature to be added to the RB Ranch.
Improvements: As you enter the property there is a 40X20 cabin with a large screened in porch along the front with views of the pond and fire pit. There are several small storage sheds behind the cabin. The cabin has its own water well and pressure tank. Ranch Broker Tallon Martin
Electricity: The cabin has electricity run to it and also there is electricity near Private Road 2150 on the north side.
