The Bear Trak 960 consists of hardwoods and pines along the creek portion of the property. The ranches mountainous terrain and tree canopy provides beautiful views with a mix of hardwoods and pine trees not typically found in this part of the state. The creek valley provides excellent travel corridors and watering holes for wildlife. There are numerous areas where you could build water holes or even large ponds on the property that could be as large as ~17 acres.
The topography on the ranch ranges from 660’ to 940′. Aside from the wildlife, this ranch provides stunning views and natural beauty. Hunting pressure has been at an absolute minimum for the last 50+ years with only the ranch manager and his son accessing the property. Many different species including White-tailed deer, turkey, hogs, bobcats, and coyotes can be abundantly found on the ranch and even elk have been known to wonder through.
Water
Beaver Creek traverses over 1.5+/- miles throughout the ranch. Additionally, there are over 2.2 miles of wet weather tributaries that navigate the ranch and feed into Beaver Creek.
Two old water wells can also be found on the ranch – one being an old hand-dug well and the other being an old drilled well with metal casing.
The terrain along with Beaver Creek and its tributaries provide incredible locations to build two sizeable lakes that could range from ~14 acres to ~17 acres.

This ranch is located within the Choctaw Nation. In the 1940’s a geologist and physician began accumulating land and operated the ranch as a cattle operation for many, many years. When natural gas was found on the ranch, the livestock operation became an afterthought and after numerous decades of the ranch sitting idle, nature took over turning Bear Trak Ranch into an incredible recreational and wildlife property.
This property is located in the middle of big ranch territory in NW Pittsburg County. The five adjoining neighboring ranches range in size from ~2,190 acres to ~5,295 acres.
With the other large adjoining ranches, this ranch is ideally situated to grow big deer.
