Henderson Creek Ranch is located in a beautiful area of East Texas in central Cass County. It is easily accessed with a .5-mile frontage along SH 8 and a .75-mile frontage along CR 2338. The ranch is about nine miles north of the county seat of Linden and three miles south of Douglassville. This places it 29 miles south of Texarkana, 60 miles north of Longview, and 160 miles east of Dallas.
The 30,000-acre Wright Patman Lake and the Overlap Landing boat ramp are six miles north.
Topography, Rangeland & Habitat
The ranch has gently rolling topography, with an approximate 80-foot total elevation change. Several small creek drainages traverse the ranch generally from north to south, with Henderson Creek being the main tributary running through the property. The ranch has mature, diverse timber, mainly hardwoods, and several planted pine tree stands. There is a well-maintained trail system that allows thoughtful access to the ranch. Much of the pasture has been terraced as it was historically farmland, which benefits the land by catching and holding rainfall along the contours.
Wildlife
