Dunbrokus Ranch - Hamilton & Comanche Counties, Carlton, TX
The Dunbrokus Ranch is located on the Hamilton and Comanche County line and just 10 miles southwest of Hico. It has well wooded areas with multiple open pastures and habitat along Rocky Creek. The size of this ranch is desirable and is in an area popular with deer and dove hunters.
Location
The ranch is located on County Road 127 with multiple access points along the road as well as along FM 1744. It is located 20 minutes from Hico, 1.5 hours from Fort Worth, 1.5 hours from Waco and 2 hours from Dallas.
Topography, Rangeland & Habitat
The ranch consists of mesquite and oaks with multiple lanes cut for hunting. It has a mix of wooded areas and open pastures for cattle.
Wildlife
White-tailed deer, dove, turkey and hogs are present on the property.
Improvements
A small portion of the property is already high-fenced. The owner’s house is a modest 2,160-square-foot house built in 1989. The ranch hand house is 1,024 square feet with an unknown build date.

There are multiple seasonal ponds on the property with the largest being ±2.5 acres. Rocky Creek runs through the property and is seasonal as well. The property has one 310-foot deep water well yielding 39 gallons per minute that was drilled in 2005.
