Location
The ranch is situated in northern Bee County. The ranch is 10 miles south of Kenedy, 70 miles from Corpus Christi, 60 miles from San Antonio, 135 miles from Austin and 160 Miles from Houston. With great access on Paved FM 2985 and CR 141, it has easy access to and from town.
Topography, Rangeland & Habitat
The ranch is gently sloping from west to east with elevation ranging from 500 feet to 430 feet. Recently, the owners root plowed and disced nearly the entire ranch. After they were done with the clearing and burning, the owners drilled in a 5 way Bermuda grass blend. The recruitment has been great and the recent rainfalls were very timely. There is an 80 acre pasture that is being used for hay on the southeast corner of the ranch with a hay trap adjoining.
Wildlife
Bee county can produce quality quail numbers and this ranch being more open in nature could be managed for quail populations. In the brushy areas that were not cleared, there are deer and other native game species. Bee county is also known for great dove hunting around the ponds in the evening.
